Pump It!!!

As what they promised last time they were here, The Black Eyed Peas are back to rock and pump the Big Dome tomorrow, July 27 at 8p.m. The tour is part of their promotion for the "Monkey Business" album. This will definitely be one heck of a jam! The tickets are pricey though. Highest being 5000 (Reserve Seats) and the lowest is 500 (General Admission). I seen them perform the last time they were here. And the 5000 will be worth it. The perfomance is a production of Viva Concerts & Events and presented by Smart, PLDT, Dickies and Skechers, and sponsored by Mentos Ice Gum, Philippine Star, ABS-CBN and MYX. Official radio staion, Wave 89.1.

The last time the BEP were here, it was their "Elephunk" ablum tour last 2004. It was their first time to come to the Philippines as a group. But ofcourse it wasn't the first for the "Pinoy Pea", Apl.de.ap, Allan Pineda in real life. The concert was like a home-coming party for Apl. He even brought his mother on stage when the group sang "The Apl Song" with the Asin band. Okay not the whole band but two singers of the Asin band. Will.I.Am, Taboo and Fergie said word in tagalog like "Babalik ako", "Balut" and the ever-famous-for-foreigners-tagalog-word "Mahal ko kayo" or "Mabuhay". There were some mishaps like too many front acts, a small fued between an act and the promoter because apparently the act as in "tagalog", well atleast thats what I read in the magazines, and not to forget the unexpected power interruption. Good thing the Peas played it cool. All and all, it was still a kick-ass concert. And to top it all, we had the best seats in the house. Okay, not the best, but close. We could see them up close.

I'm positive that this tour will be pumping! Just listen to the album and you'll know what I mean. And later tonight, they'll be interviewed on Wave 89.1. The Black Eyed Peas are great. A very talented group. And not mention one of them is a Filipino.

I'm so excited. Really, I am. I 'm looking forward to see them perform again. Just thinking about it get my blood pumping. It's gonna be a jam! There is just one tiny problem, I can't go to the concert. Why? I have no f---ing ticket! I wasn't able to get one because, first, Payday isn't until the 31, don't have money. Second, the concert is on a weekday. And third, I don't have a ticket! I wasn't able to save some because I had bills to pay. Damn bills!

Oh well, can't win them all, right. *Sigh* There's always next time. Good luck Peas. Kick some ass! \m/ If I can't hear them live, I'll just listen to their cd...
